These main posts are really cute so here's my contribution!
My strongest suit is probably my linearting, but I've gradually been trying to study color and not be so lazy with finishing my pieces. Hopefully this comm will help guilt me into pushing myself in all the areas I want to work on!!

i'm really happy with how jean turned out too since he goes against everything my style usually stands for. i should try drawing him more often. also erwin's expression is douche-y 110% of the time so i'm glad i managed to catch his spirit.

Overall, a pretty solid piece! It was supposed to show more but then I got lazy. I'm also pretty rusty with coloring so I was trying to do a full piece. Blending was good, though I really need to practice my values more.

I wanna try practicing different angles so we'll see how things go. Also I feel like my shoulders have just gotten stiffer so I'll be working on loosening those up in subsequent doodles.

I told Emily that I wanted to draw a 'hella lineart' so here's the start sketch of a hella lineart.
I haven't done a serious lineartinig project in a while so I wanted to stretch my muscles a bit and see how detailed I can get. I'm still debating whether to keep Tokunaga there since I wanted to put a majority of the details on the dress, but it's early enough where I can finagle what I want.

IMPROVEMENT CHALLENGE - DAY 01
Day 01 - Self Portrait: Introduce yourself!
God there was no way I was subjecting anyone to my terrible handwriting so I'll introduce myself like this.
Granted, there isn't too much to say that I haven't gone over already. I consider myself mostly a Lineartist aka a 'Glorified Tracer', though I'd love to get better at values and color. With that said, I have two main goals for this exercise:
1) Draw outside my comfort zone.
2) Do so in under 2-3 hours.
I need to get out of the habit of getting hung up over the details, so I think putting a hard time limit for myself will help with that.
Anyway, wish me luck! I'm not going to beat myself up if I can't do 30 days consecutively, but I'm determined to finish this challenge no matter what.

but HAHA THANK YOU I hope I'll learn a few things during this exercise and try to be more daring in order to branch out. With that said, yesterday was a general productivity bust, but I've made good progress with a few things this morning so I should be able to work on Day 2 today.
I can't wait for you to join me though. >( Things like these are always more fun when you've got someone suffering with you.
IMPROVEMENT CHALLENGE - DAY 02
Day 02 - Draw a figure using a reference - link to reference
I'm playing it a little safe with this figure, but I kind of wanted to work on fluidity more so than anything so I chose a pretty sassy pose to get the attitude across. Levi became the model because I hate him, and from there I decided that, if I'm going to make him homo, I might as well go all the way.
OVERALL it was a fun exercise though I got a little lazy when drawing the hands and feet. Those are probably the things I'll be working on during the later anatomy studies.
WARMUP 01
So I have the nasty habit of not bothering to save 90% of what I doodle and I realize that's a shame since I've been wanting to keep a closer eye on what I'm improving on and getting worse with.
With that said, to help with my 'stiff posing' problem I'm gonna save post more of my warm up pieces regardless of whether they suck or not. Numbers mean chronological order.
